The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) at Christian Polytechnic College was established in theyear 2026 with a nin take of 30students. The departmentis committed to providing quality technical education and practical training in the rapidly growing field of intelligent technologies and to developing skilled professionals equipped with knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and modern computing technologies.
The department focuses on building strong technical and analytical skills required for solving real-world problems using intelligent systems and automation. Students are trained in areas such as Programming, Python, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Cloud Computing, and Internet of Things (IoT).
With modern computer laboratories, experienced faculty members, and industry-oriented training, the department ensures that students gain strong theoretical understanding along with hands-on practical experience. The curriculum is designed according to the norms and regulations prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Tamil Nadu.
The department also encourages students to participate in seminars, workshops, hackathons, industrial visits, internships, mini-projects, and technical events to enhance their technical knowledge, communication skills, creativity, and professional development.
